We Have Trees!

We were gifted 100 surplus Christmas trees from our friends at Home Depot.

This type of tree makes excellent habitat for around a dock. They can easily be attached to the supports on the dock. No permits are required to do this. We can bring the trees to you and install them for you if needed. All you have to do is contact us, and we will do the rest.

Installing just a few trees around the supports for your dock will create a thriving "mini ecosystem". They provide crucial underwater habitat, shelter, and a base for the aquatic food "web". This attracts fish, invertebrates and amphibians. This structure/habitat provides protection from predators, allowing the Young Of The Year (YOY) fish to thrive and survive.

It is very easy for you to make a difference. Help us increase the fish populations in our lake by installing some trees on your dock. Or by allowing us to install a larger brush pile (made up of Christmas trees) on your property. If your land extends out into the lake, you have the right to place fish habitat on it. We can help with any permissions need from the TVA. We will bring the trees and construct the brush pile. Again, all you have to do is reach out to us.

Our lake is in desperate need of fish habitat. Please reach out to us if you, or someone you know, would be willing to install much needed fish habitat on their dock or land.
