Our Key Initiatives
Accelerate - Expand - Build
Accelerate Existing TWRA Habitat Projects

The TWRA has been placing "reef balls" like the one shown above in certain areas around the lower half of the lake for several years. These reef balls are further enhanced by attaching cedar trees to them They provide excellent habitat for fish and will last a lifetime.
Expand Habitat Projects Through Private Land Owners

The property that the TWRA can use to introduce reef balls is very limited. Therefore, to expand the habitat project, we need private land owners permission to establish new reef sites. This is a very simple process that we can help you with.
